In 1976 Alan Franklin began transporting antiques between England and the Continent in an attempt to satisfy an increasing demand for specialised transport. Many years on Alan Franklin Transport Ltd. has vehicles travelling throughout the Continent delivering and collecting antiques, works of art and personal and household effects.

Our four offices and warehouses in England, France and Belgium provide a firm geographical base and with our many years of experience we at Alan Franklin Transport Ltd. are positive that we can satisfy your individual requirements whatever they may be.

Our head office and warehouse complex is situated in Verwood, England on the Hampshire/Dorset border, seventy five miles to the South West of London.

We have two offices and warehousing facilities in France. One is conveniently situated in the heart of the flea market in Paris and one in L'Isle sur la Sorgue - the centre for antiques in the South of France. Our Belgian is based in coastal town of Knokke servicing the Benelux countries.

Our offices are staffed by people speaking seven different languages which enables us to communicate with the majority of the countries that we deal with.

Using a wide range of modern vehicles manned by drivers experienced in European travel we can guarantee a fast and efficient door-to-door service whether we are transporting one item or a lorry-load in and around Europe or to places further afield such as America, Australia and South Africa.
